Ira Losco was born on the 31 st July 1981
Ira started singing at 16 years of age with the band "Tiara" They were awarded as ‘Best Band’ at the university of Malta’s student festival in 1999.
Won FIDOF award in the "International festival of the Maltese song"
In year 2000, Ira finished 2 songs 6 and 7 at the "Song For Europe Festival"
At "Song For Europe Festival 2001" Ira placed second, fourth, ninth and eleventh with four songs out of sixteen competing.
Ira Losco is also the winner of the ‘Best female Singer ‘ award at the ‘Malta Music Awards 2001’.

He participated in many festivals & musical including.
1997 Role of Annas in Jesus Christ superstar
Kazakhstan X international festival Voice of Asia (rewarded 1st prize by our site's version).
Was named best male singer in the Malta music awards 2001
Winner of the international song festival 1998 and winner and present holder of the Fidof award
