| Lou, who is the German representative at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2003, taking place in Latvia, has made it - the second time
round...! Lou was born on October 27th, 1963 at 6.a.m. in her parents home as
their sixth child and she was immediately encircled by her first fan community, namely her
elder brothers and sisters. The merry, happy-go-lucky singer with the vivid
orange-coloured hair, who has been on tour with her band for more than 15 years, in
Germany as well as in foreign countries, was the winner of the German finals for the
Eurovision Song Contest on March, 7th, 2003. In the spring of 2001, Lou was able to prove her talents before an audience of millions of TV-viewers. On the occasion of the Song Contest German finals of that year in Hannover, she sang a mid-tempo rock number and was voted to a great Nr. 3 spot ! Nevertheless - still a little unfortunate, since it had always been her dream to represent Germany at an international competition. But everyone deserves a second chance! Shortly before Christmas of 2002, Ralph Siegel approached Lou and asked her if she were willing to compete again. He had already written "Let's Get Happy" beforehand, with lyric-writer Dr. Bernd Meinunger. After hearing the song, which seemed to have been written solely for her, Lou was totally enthusiastic: "This is just my song - and besides, it's my life's motto...!" |

ребенком в семье. С детства ее окружали фанаты ее
творчества, ее старшие братья и сестры. Эта жизнерадосная певица с рыжими волосами, которая совершает туры по Германии со своей группой исполняя кавер-версии известных хитов уже более 15 лет стала победительницей Немецкого отбора к конкурсу Евровидение, прошедшего 7-го марта 2003 года. Весной 2001 года Лу смогла подтвердить свой талант перед многомилионной телеаудиторией. В том году она исполнила в финале конкурса песню в рок-стиле и заняла 3-е место - ей немного не повезло, ее мечтой всегда было представлять Германию на международном конкурсе. Но все заслуживают того, чтоб им дали вторую попыку. Незадолго до Рождества 2002 к ней обратился Ральф Зигель и спросил, не хочет ли она попробовать еще раз. Он уже написал вместе с Берндом Мейнунгером песню "Давайте будем счастливы".
